The Dacsa Chair closes its 9th edition and awards prizes to the best entrepreneurial projects

The IX edition of the Chair of the University of Valencia “Excellence and Development in Entrepreneurship: from Student to Entrepreneur” sponsored by Dacsa Group was closed on 27th June.
The event was attended by Araceli Císcar, Executive Director of Dacsa Group and David Pérez, Southern Europe Regional Manager and New Business manager of Dacsa Group. Also present were the Vice-Rector for Innovation and Transfer of the University of Valencia, Rosa María Donat and Carlos Lassala, director of the Chair.
During the event, Dr. Brij Gupta, Professor of Technology, Cybersecurity and Blockchain at the National Institute of Technology (Kurukshetra, India), gave a lecture. Gupta spoke about the opportunities and practical implications of cybersecurity in entrepreneurship. To this end, he urged attendees to take appropriate security precautions to ensure the long-term success of the business.
In addition, the promoters of the 4 finalist projects of the IX Edition of prizes for the best viability plans awarded by the DACSA Chair were able to present them. And after their defence, the order of the winners was revealed:
- First place: Xoriveg. Sustainable vegan sausage that aims to provide an innovative quality product with raw materials of 100% vegetable origin and with a lower environmental impact.
- Second place: Sierra Morena. Wine of Spanish origin that would be aimed at offering the Mexican market a growing, high quality product at an accessible price.
- Third place: Miivo Mobility. A service that aims to integrate the benefits of all Valencia’s transport services into a single app, making mobility more efficient and reducing environmental impact.
- Fourth place: Chance. Detachable and interchangeable glasses, made from recycled raw materials that provide an economical, quality and environmentally friendly alternative.
The Dacsa Chair seeks to support and encourage entrepreneurial activity within the University of Valencia and is a further reflection of the Dacsa Group’s involvement with the social and economic development of our immediate environment.
