On 25th March, students on the “Qui pot ser empresari?” course at Valencia University’s Chair of Enterprise Culture, visited Dacsa Group’s facilities. This training activity, aimed at students and university graduates, is unusual in that the teachers of the sessions are entrepreneurs, managers and professionals, as well as including visits to companies.
In the case of Dacsa, those registered for the activity were able to enjoy a talk with Araceli Císcar, Executive Director of Dacsa Group, in which she spoke to them about the company, innovation, food solutions and the Group’s leadership model.
After the session with Araceli, the attendees were given a tour of the plant, including the rice and corn mill, to learn at first-hand about the particulars of the Group’s business model and corporate culture.
The aim of this activity, which is promoted by the Board of Trustees of the University-Business Foundation of Valencia and of which Dacsa Group is a Trustee, is to encourage the spirit of enterprise among the university community. For this reason, it has the collaboration of some of the most representative entrepreneurs from the Valencian Community, such as Araceli Císcar from Dacsa Group.
Thanks to the meetings and visits to the companies, the business people transmit their experience to the students, as well as certain aspects of business creation and management.
Dacsa Group collaborates closely and continuously with the university community on different initiatives and activities. This participation in Valencia University’s Chair of Business Culture reinforces this close bond between the two entities.
In fact, Dacsa’s involvement with the UV has been recognised with the University-Social Prize for University-Business Collaboration awarded by the Social Council of the University of Valencia and its University-Business Foundation (ADEIT).
