Ricardo Císcar, president and founder of Dacsa Group, awarded for his career with the Agro Award.
The 3rd edition of the Agro Awards, organised by the newspaper Las Provincias, was held on Wednesday 1st December.
These awards distinguish and recognise companies and personalities from the agri-food sector.
In this edition, the Agro Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Ricardo Císcar, president and founder of Dacsa Group, an award that is a tribute to his long professional career. But it is also a recognition of the achievements of the group, which began as a small local company and has become the leading producer of maize for derived products throughout Europe.
In this way, the event not only provides recognition but also vindicates and highlights the work of a key industry in the Valencia Region.
Along with Ricardo Císcar, 6 other companies and personalities from the agri-food world received awards:
– Innovation for Pulverizadores Fede
– Export for Frutinter
– Environmental Integration for Cofrudeca
– Agri-food Transformation for Celler del Roure
– Youth Initiative for Fernando Durá and Ismael Navarro
– Woman of the Year 2021 in the agricultural field for Pepa Ocheda
The awards ceremony brought together representatives from the world of business, institutions, the media and the university in what became a celebration of a basic pillar of the Valencian productive fabric, agri-food activity.
