The Novaterra Foundation’s “More than a Flower” campaign has once again filled Christmas with charity poinsettias and, once again, has enjoyed the collaboration of Dacsa Group.
The action seeks to raise funds for the social and labour integration of people with difficulties in finding work through the sale of this Christmas flower.
In fact, in 2021, more than 19,000 flowers were sold, which meant a total of 286 people were hired, as well as 185 people trained and a total of 725 insertion pathways.
More than a Flower celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2022 and is already a classic at this time of year. More and more organisations, companies, associations and individuals are collaborating by giving this typical flower as a gift to employees, partners or family members.
The Novaterra Foundation is a non-profit association whose mission is the social and labour insertion of people in situations of exclusion. To this end, they promote employability, intermediation and job creation, as well as raising society’s awareness of situations of exclusion by reporting and proposing alternatives.
The objective with the More than a flower initiative for 2022 is to exceed the numbers of previous years and it is hoped to surpass the barrier of 20,000 flowers purchased. As well as being social action, it is also a sustainable action as the flowers come from nurseries in the Valencia Region and the pots are made from recycled materials.
Dacsa Group has been collaborating on this initiative with the Novaterra Foundation for several years now and this year we couldn’t miss it. Our workers and partners will receive more than just a flower, they will be participating in a great social cause such as the social and labour inclusion promoted by the campaign.
