Vegan gnocchi

Ingredients
  • 1 package of Hi Vegs Original Strips
  • 500gr of gnocchi cooked in water according to package directions
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 pinch of paprika
  • Optional a pinch of onion powder or garlic powder

Sauce

  • 100gr of peeled almonds (hydrated in water for several hours)
  • 50gr of natural cashew nuts (hydrated in water for several hours)
  • 2 tablespoons of nutritional yeast
  • 1 pinch of unrefined sea salt
  • 1 dash of olive oil
  • Half a glass of water
  • Optional 1 pinch of smoked paprika
Elaboration

No bacon: Mix the ingredients in a bowl and leave for a couple of hours for the flavors to integrate. After this time, strain and sauté with a little olive oil. Set aside.

Cook the gnocchi in boiling water according to package directions. Strain. Set aside.


Sauce "no cheese": Strain the nuts and put them in a bowl to grind together with the rest of the ingredients. Add water little by little to obtain the desired texture. Season to taste.


Sauté and brown the gnocchi with a little olive oil.


Mix the 3 previous preparations.
