A few days ago, a new edition of Ftalks Food Summit was held in Valencia, the appointment with the transformation of the global food system, sponsored by Dacsa Group.
For two days, we have experienced success stories, inspiration and networking with the protagonists of the future and present of the sector.
Two days in which, through different round tables and presentations, the focus was placed on aspects such as the resilient supply chain, open innovation, new proteins, zero waste, technology and data or health and flavour.
On behalf of Dacsa Group, our colleague Sunil Mathani, International Business Development Manager, participated in one of them. Under the title “Will fermentation change the rules of the game for new proteins?”, the role of fermentation in the development of new proteins was discussed. The participating experts highlighted how fermentation can transform agricultural surpluses and by-products into nutritious and delicious foods, while offering farmers a new source of income.
In short, Ftalks has become a great opportunity to learn about innovations in the sector, including experimenting with the food of the future. All this thanks to the participation of leading professionals and companies that are leading the transition of the sector and reshaping the food ecosystem.
