Dacsa Group passes the ISO 14001: 2015 Environment audit

We must congratulate ourselves for a further year for having passed the ISO 14001 audit, this time specifically adapting it to the new 2015 revised Standard.  This revision gives a more global and strategic approach to the environmental aspects of any organization.

This certification guarantees that our organization uses the necessary means to minimize the negative impact that our processes have on the environment. In addition to complying with what is established in terms of environmental regulations in our country, we are going a step further in our desire to advance in the continuous improvement of our company.

ISO 14000 is a family of standards related to environmental management, which exist to help organizations minimize the way their operations negatively affect the environment. Specifically, the established requirements for overcoming the ISO 14001 audit are an integral part of the European Union’s Eco-Management and Auditing System; this structure focuses primarily on improving performance, compliance with laws and information obligations.

This certification is relevant to the Dacsa Group because it provides us with a frame of reference to respond to ever changing environmental issues and is used in our line of work to improve and manage our resources more effectively, in addition to being an internationally recognized standard.

Overcoming this audit is the result of the work of each one of us who form this company. The commitment of all the functions and levels of the organization is, each day, increasingly focused on addressing environmental aspects from a more strategic approach, incorporating them into the company´s global management system.
