On the 16th of May, the conference “Advances in diversity strategies in Valencian companies” was held at the Business School of the Valencia Chamber of Commerce.
Organised by the Excellence in Sustainability Club and the Adecco Foundation, the conference focused on the importance of diversity in the strategic planning of companies to achieve work environments that promote inclusion, help reduce inequality and seek business excellence.
África Valldecabres, Corporate People Manager of Dacsa Group, participated as a speaker at the round table “Addressing diversity in the company”, where she shared her experience in the design of diversity strategies and implementation of good practices in Dacsa.
Along with África, other diversity experts participated, representatives of Valencian companies that, like Dacsa Group, develop strategies that promote inclusion practices and reduce inequality in their human resources management.
The conference was completed with presentations on Diversity as a strategic pillar of companies, legal developments on the Equality Plan, reports on non-financial information and Diversity and a working table with good business practices in SMEs.
Undoubtedly, it was a day that highlighted how diversity management in companies is vital if they are committed to sustainable growth from a social point of view.
In this sense, Dacsa Group, as África explained in her participation in the conference, is committed to the implementation of different actions to take care of diversity and equal opportunities among its teams and people.
