Dacsa Group once again supports the Women’s Race in Valencia with the participation of its female employees

This year, the city of Valencia once again hosted the exciting Central Lechera Asturiana Women’s Race, an event that combines sport and charity to support the fight against cancer. On this occasion, Dacsa Group has once again reaffirmed its commitment to the cause, supporting the event with the active participation of some of its employees.

The Race, which this year celebrates its twentieth anniversary, has established itself as the largest women’s sporting event in Europe. Nearly 8,000 women gathered on Valencia’s Paseo Marítimo, filling the streets with energy and colour in their pink T-shirts. The atmosphere was festive but also deeply emotional, reflecting not only a spirit of celebration, but also a strong message of female empowerment and social awareness.

The event began with a heartfelt tribute to two great sportswomen: Almudena Muñoz, an Olympic medallist in judo, and Pilar Javaloyas, an outstanding Paralympic swimmer. Afterwards, from Avenida Ingeniero Manuel Soto, thousands of participants set off on a 6.5 kilometre route, united not only by sport, but also by a greater cause: the fight against gender violence. Once again, symbolically, all the runners wore the same bib number, 016, in support of the victims of gender violence.

From Dacsa Group, we would like to express our sincere thanks to all our colleagues who participated and collaborated in this event. Thanks to their effort and enthusiasm, we have once again been able to contribute to these important objectives, reinforcing the positive impact of our commitment to society.

For our part, we will continue to support and participate in events that promote such essential values as equality, respect and charity.
