Dacsa Group obtains CDP certification for environmental sustainability

The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) has released its ratings for 2022 and Dacsa Group has obtained a B rating for its environmental actions and commitments.
The questionnaire included all of the group’s plants, taking into account actions and processes on a global level. In addition, the data from the questionnaire has been shared publicly as part of the group’s commitment to transparency.
CDP is a non-profit organization that manages the world’s leading environmental disclosure platform. Its goal is to encourage organizations and governments to reduce their environmental impacts.
In this sense, CDP is considered the standard in terms of environmental reporting, so conforming to the parameters to obtain this rating is a reflection of the efforts in corporate sustainability.
This is the case with Dacsa Group as reflected in its environmental policy and its corporate social responsibility report, in which it is committed to a more sustainable project.
This has resulted, among other achievements, in a 20% reduction in the carbon footprint thanks to a commitment to renewable energies, as well as various efforts aimed at acquiring raw materials of sustainable origin, reducing the amount of packaging placed in the market (almost all of which is mono-material packaging) and the recovery of waste from our industrial activity.
Participation in CDP is a further reflection of Dacsa Group firm commitment to environmental protection as a cross-cutting element in all of the organization’s activities.
