Dacsa Group has been collaborating for 3 years with the RunCancer circuit in its fight against cancer.
World Cancer Day is celebrated on the 4th of February with the aim of raising awareness and mobilising society to make progress in the prevention and control of this disease.
Every year more than 14 million new cases are diagnosed worldwide and the disease causes 9.6 million deaths per year.
At Dacsa Group we are aware that this is a problem that affects us all and that as a company we must help to reduce the impact of the disease in our country.
For this reason, we have been collaborating for 3 years with the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) by sponsoring, through Arroz Dacsa, one of its best known activities the “Valencia against Cancer” race, within the RunCáncer circuit organised by AECC Valencia.
A 100% charitable sporting initiative whose proceeds go to cancer research projects.
The promotion of a healthy lifestyle and research are key in the fight against this disease, which is why an event like RunCancer is the perfect setting for it.
Thanks to research, cancer survival has increased by 20% in recent years. And this improvement comes from the development of new tools for early diagnosis and more specific and effective treatments. Research is the driving force behind making cancer a preventable and curable disease.
For this reason, at Dacsa Group we cannot fail to support organisations such as the AECC in events such as RunCancer. Thanks to this, we contribute to the fight against the disease, reducing the impact caused and improving people’s lives.
